Notes & documents
Sticky notes for a line or two, and longer document pages when the thought needs room. They live side by side on the same board.
Infinite canvas
Pan and zoom across one space. Notes and documents sit next to each other, and the camera moves with you. There is no page size to hit.
Rich text
Bold, italic, size, color, and font on the words you select. Writing is the point. The formatting sits on the text.
Checks
Checklists live in the note. Indent a child under a parent, mark one in progress, and a click on the parent moves the whole group. Fold the group when the list should step aside.
Tables
Insert a table in the note and type in the cells. Set columns, alignment, and zebra stripes from the panel. Drag an edge to change the width.
Agents
Point a coding agent at AGENTS.md next to the Infinity binary. It can read the board, write notes, and mark checks. The file stays on your machine.
Images & shapes
Drop a picture onto the board. Rects, circles, and arrows stack with the notes. Arrange the still, then export it.
Image export
Export the selection to a PNG, on the clipboard or as a file. The still is what you post. The board stays local.
Local files
The board is a file on your disk. Autosave keeps it. No account, and it works without the cloud.

Technical requirements
Development status
Infinity is in open beta. What you buy today is a pre-1.0 version (Beta 0.1.15) under active development: it is ready for real work, but features are still being added and changed. Your license covers the beta and every update released during your update period.
Supported operating systems
Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).
Linux (Ubuntu 24.04+) is available as an early beta build.
Delivery
The app is a free download from this page. After purchase, the license key arrives by email.
Hardware requirements
A 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or 11, or Ubuntu 24.04 or newer.
Integrated graphics are enough.
Activation
Enter the license key in Settings. The first activation on a PC needs internet; after that Infinity runs offline there. One license covers two machines. Release a machine in Settings when you still have internet. If a PC is gone and you cannot release it, email us and we free the seat. That is limited.
Updates
Your license includes every update released in the 2 years after purchase. The window starts on the purchase date. After it ends, the installed version keeps working. A new license extends updates for another 2 years.

Questions
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once, not monthly. The license does not expire, and the installed build keeps working. Updates are included for 2 years from the purchase date. A new license extends updates for another 2 years. Pro will be a separate product later.
Do I need an account?
No. Download and work locally. After purchase, nobbs.at emails a license key. Paste it, activate once with internet, then that PC works offline.
Where do my files live?
On your machine. Base does not host your boards in the cloud.
Which platforms?
Windows 10 and 11, and Linux (Ubuntu 24.04 or newer) in early beta. Mac may come later.
What about animation?
That is Infinity Pro — not in Base. We keep that wall hard.
How is this different from Miro / FigJam / Excalidraw?
Miro, FigJam, and Excalidraw are for realtime workshops in a browser. Infinity is a native Windows and Linux app. The board is a file on your disk, there is no account, and you pay once. A coding agent on your machine can read the board, write notes, and mark checks. Infinity is not a live multiplayer meeting tool.
How does the trial work?
You get a free project: create, write, save, export. Opening your other projects needs a license key. Try that first — after you buy, there are no returns. Activate once with internet, then that PC works offline. Two machines.
How can my coding agent edit the board?
Point your local coding agent (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or opencode) at the AGENTS.md file next to the Infinity executable. It can read the board, write notes, and mark checks directly on your disk.
